The USB to 5-Pin DIN Cable Kit includes:
- Type A USB male plug
- 5-pin DIN male plug
- 1 meter of 2-conductor, 22 AWG wire
- 1.5″ piece of heat shrink with an adhesive inner lining
To build this cable, you will need the following (not included in kit):
- Crimpers or needle-nose pliers
- 20 AWG to 30 AWG wire strippers
- Flush cutters
- Razor blade
- Small Phillips screwdriver
- Soldering Iron
- Solder
- Liquid flux

Description
The USB to 5-pin DIN Cable Kit can be used to create your own custom cable to power your FuelCan. For example, you can connect it to a battery that has a 5Vdc output which would allow you to deploy the FuelCan out in the field for data acquisition or remote operations. This would be used to replace the AC-DC power adapter.
